Day TWO : Preview and updates

The 2025 British Junior Open continued today in Birmingham with more matches across all five venues, from 9am to 9pm.

Day One was a good day for the seeded players, with just two 5/8 casualties out of all the top eight seeds as the categories were reduced to the last 32 or last 16 stage. It was also an ominously good day for BJO powerhouse Egypt with just one of their 68-strong contingent being defeated.

Main draw action now centres on Edgbaston Priory and the University of Birmingham with one or two rounds to be played as the quarter-finalists in each category are decided, and playoff matches at the other three venues.
