Dunlop to support British Junior Open as a gold partner in multi-year deal

England Squash has today announced that Dunlop has extended its sponsorship of the British Junior Open for the 2026, 2027, and 2028 championships.

Dunlop has supported the flagship junior event since 2018, and through this extension will continue to provide championship prizes, official balls, welcome bag items, and discounted product offers for the 700+ international junior competitors who participate each year.

Dunlop is also the England Squash Official Ball Partner and was recently announced as an Official Grassroots Development Product Partner, ensuring high-quality equipment is available throughout the game from grassroots initiatives to elite events.

Founded in 1926, the British Junior Open is the most prestigious event on the international junior circuit, with next year marking the 100th anniversary of the iconic event.

Mark Williams, CEO at England Squash said: “We’re delighted to have extended our long-standing partnership with Dunlop for the British Junior Open.

“With the 2026 event signalling the competition’s centenary year, we look forward to welcoming the best junior players from around the world for what promises to be a very special celebration of squash.”

Steve Heatley, UK General Manager at Dunlop said: “We’re proud to once again be sponsoring the British Junior Open as it heads into its second century.

“This three-year extension further cements our commitment to supporting England Squash at every level and we look forward to seeing how the sport further develops between now and 2028.”

Mike Edwards, Tournament Director said: “The British Junior Open is a hugely important event on the squash calendar, and we’re extremely grateful for Dunlop’s continued support as the event celebrates its 100th anniversary.

“Through this extended partnership, we’ll be able to offer participating players a high-quality experience with the very best equipment both on and off the court.”

The 100th edition of the championships takes place in Birmingham from 2nd-6th January 2026.
