The Alpha Bravo Construction British Junior Open will return to Birmingham from 2-6 January 2027, with federations now invited to submit their entries.
Following its centenary edition earlier this year, the British Junior Open will once again welcome the world’s leading young players to compete for the sport’s most prestigious junior title.
The tournament has played an important role in the development of generations of players. Former champions include some of squash’s biggest names, including Nour El Sherbini, Ali Farag and Mohamed ElShorbagy.
England Squash CEO Mark Williams said: “The British Junior Open holds a unique place in world squash. Its history is extraordinary, and every year it brings together the best young players from around the world, offering a unique look at the players who could go on to shape the future of the sport.
“Following the centenary edition in January, we’re delighted to open entries for next year and welcome the global squash community for another outstanding five days of competition.”
Event Director Mike Edwards said: “The British Junior Open is the highlight of the world junior calendar, and preparations are already under way to deliver another outstanding experience for players, coaches, families and spectators in 2027.

The 2027 championships will take place at six Birmingham venues: University of Birmingham Sport & Fitness, Edgbaston Priory Club, West Warwickshire Sports Club, Stourbridge Lawn Tennis and Squash Club, Sutton Coldfield Squash Club and Solihull Arden Club.
